Ken Poston and Dad

Ken Poston and Dad started their friendship back in the mid-to-late 1960's in Lufkin, Texas. Back then Ken had a radio show and was a DJ. These days he is a history professor at a university.  With Dad's recent diagnosis and surgery Ken came to Monticello, Arkansas to see his old friend.  Here are some words from Ken about Dad.

Ordie's Scar

My uncles Ordie and Carl Watts don't really get along but still they love each other. Ordie has an obvious "U" shaped scar on his face and there are two stories on how this happened.  Ordie called it a fight but Carl said it was an accident all because of a mosquito hawk.  This is Carl's version of what happened told during our 2008 Christmas luncheon.   -Ken
